Clint serves with his wife Deb as a senior co-pastor at Knox. In addition to preaching and pastoral care Clint serves as Knox’s head-of-staff.

Clint grew up in the Northeast. He received his B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to pursue graduate study in History at Tulane University. Clint entered McCormick Theological Seminary in 1982 where he met Deb. Graduating with an M.div. in 1985, Clint has served Presbyterian churches in Marion, Kansas and Crown Point, Indiana. Clint and Deb have been at Knox since 1999.

Deb serves as a Senior Co-Pastor with her husband, Clinton. In addition to preaching and pastoral care, she oversees both outreach and congregational growth. She was born in California and met her husband in Chicago while in Seminary. They now call the Midwest their home. Deb has a strong commitment to rebuilding congregations and to bringing spiritual renewal.

Deb and Clinton have two children in college.

Rev. Cindy Karis

Cindy serves as Associate Pastor and part of the Pastoral and Program staff. As liaison, she provides leadership to the Church Life Council, the Congregational Care and Presbytery Relations Council and the Mission Council. She also oversees the Stephen Ministry team and the Deacons.

Cindy was born in Athens, Greece. Her love of the Lord has motivated her ministry to serve others for the past 20 years. She also serves the community through the Naperville Interfaith Leaders Association.

Cindy is married to Harold Bullard and they have one daughter.

Kim serves as CDO Director and Childcare Coordinator. Kim comes to us from Heritage YMCA where she served for more than six years as a PreSchool Teacher, PreSchool Director and Director of After-School Programs. Kim received her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services/Psychology from Friends University in Witchita, KS and went on to earn over 20 hours in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. She is certified in Early Childhood Teaching and has Program Director Approval.

Kim has two lovely children--Evan and Alyssa.

Jane Burkelman

Jane serves as one of Knox’s Co-Directors of Children’s Ministries. Jane’s programs include Sunday School for the school-year and summer, Prime Time which is a mid-week program for Kindergarten through Second Grade and Kamp Knox, a week-long summer program for Third Grade through Middle School. She also enjoys participating in worship a few times a year and the opportunity to teach as it arises.

Jane moved to Naperville in 2000 having always lived in the east: Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Before working at Knox, Jane had been involved with Christian Education for 12 years as Elder and Sunday School Teacher.

Jane and her husband, Bruce are blessed with two children, Anne and Brian.

Jenny Hubbard

Jenny is very excited to be on staff as the Co-Director of Children’s Ministries. She will be working with the kids during VBS, mid-week and various other programs. Jenny has been a member since she was four years old where she was in the Caroler Choir program. Yes, if you do the math it has been a long time.

Jenny received her B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from Illinois State University and became the Day Camp and Support Staff Coordinator at Fox Valley Special Recreation Association. After working for several years she was lucky to be a stay at home Mom. Now she is ready to be back in the workforce and couldn’t be happier that it is at Knox. Her hobbies include singing, sign-language performance and dance. She and her husband Brian have three kids.

Chanon Ross

Chanon Ross was born and raised in Oregon. He met his wife Shannon (yes they have the same name!) in Seattle and they had their first child in early September, 2005. Chanon loves the church, and he has been working with high school and college students in a variety of contexts for the last seven years.

Chanon has a BA in Christian Education and Theology from Seattle Pacific University, a Masters in Theological Studies from Duke University, and he is completing a Ph.D. at Garrett Theological Seminary at Northwestern University.

Jan & Curt Parry are Directors of Music. Under Jan's direction, Knox offers children’s choirs from preschool through 5th grade. She is also responsible for the weekly worship music and services.

Jan holds a degree in Music Education and has taught music K-8, directed children and adult church choirs, directed both youth and adult hand bell choirs, and has experience developing and participating in praise teams and leading worship.

Curt leads the Chancel Choir, and is an integral part of the Sunday Praise Team at the 10:30 a.m. worship services.

Curt has a B.S. in Music Education, and a Masters in Administration. He continues to teach full time as Vocal Music Director at Naperville Central High School.

Jan & Curt have 3 sons.
