This Christmas, Knox is dedicating our entire Christmas Eve offering to World Relief, supporting

their work of care & compassion to refugees and asylum-seekers displaced in the Chicago area.

The migrant crisis continues to be an urgent need in the greater Chicago area. More than 20,000 people seeking asylum in America have arrived in Chicago since August 2022. Christians have an obligation to "welcome the stranger" (Matthew 25) and to care for the "widow, orphan, and alien" (Deuteronomy 10:18).
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to empower the local church to serve the most vulnerable. They aim to tackle the world’s greatest problems with holistic, locally-driven solutions that lead to lasting change — whether in response to disasters, extreme poverty, violence, oppression or mass displacement and immigration. World Relief’s work in the United States, specifically, focuses on helping refugees and other immigrants in vulnerable situations rebuild their lives in a new country. All undesignated gifts given at our three Christmas Eve services will be given to this fund. If you are unable to attend our Christmas Eve worship, but would like to donate to this fund, click on the button to make your gift.

Carols & Candlelight

Sunday, December 17 at 4:00 pm

Carols and Candlelight is an annual event in which we tell the story of Christmas through song! As the busyness of the season swirls around us, we invite you to slow down and rediscover the joy of Christmas. Come experience the story of Jesus' birth through readings and music performed by the Knox Choir, Orchestra and Children's Choirs. All are welcome!

Longest Night:
Service of Healing & Hope

Thursday, December 21 at 7:00 pm

The Christmas season isn't always merry and bright. The death of a loved one, coping with the loss of a job, facing life after divorce, and any number of difficult life events can feel all the more painful for us during this season of family gatherings and Christmas parties. You are not alone. We invite you to gather with us at Knox Presbyterian Church for a Service of Healing and Hope.  All are welcome.

Star Sunday

January 7 at both Worship Services

Star Sunday is when we celebrate Epiphany and the Coming of the Wise Men. The star shone down on the house where Jesus lay…

Each year, Knox hands out stars to every worshiper. The stars have a Bible word – and a church household to pray for. Members share faith stories about what their star word has come to mean to them.
